Megaputer is a software development company that specializes in text and data analytics tools. The web-based tools offered by Megaputer include Text Compare, Translator, Optical Character Recognition, and various other text and data mining and analytics tools.
Design Task:
Design the user experience and interfaces for the account portal (web and mobile) and create reusable components for all web-based products.
My role:
UX/UI Designer | User research and testing | Collaborated with designers of aligned products and developers to understand constraints, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
Results:
Successfully launched product before deadline and updated design system library for future guidelines and reuse.
Analyzed competitors’ and other similar products’ user flow to align with industry standards and decide on the best user flow for Megaputer’s customers.
Designed new padding and margin rules, button styles, typograph styles for other aligned products to follow. Communicated with developers to ensure styles are applied to all aligned products.
Discovered non-compliance with design guidelines in existing dropdown menus and subsequently redesigned a standardized dropdown menu for all related products, fostering reuse and replacement.
Conducted numerous user testing sessions to ensure the final prototype reflects a smooth and logical user flow.
After the product launch, I collaborated with developers to enhance the UX/UI, addressing several discovered issues.
